RECIPES:
Rotel Chicken-
bag of frozen chicken
1 8 oz block cream cheese
1 can Rotel
1 can of black beans
1 can of corn
Throw it all in the crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
*We tried this one last week. IT was nice to try but not something I will cook again. Justin didn't like all the "other stuff" in with the chicken and I didn't like any of it. Quite frankly I couldn't handle the smell of it while cleaning the crock pot.
Chicken & Black Bean Enchilada Casserole-
chicken (shredded)
tortillas
black beans
cheese
sour cream
enchilada sauce
Layer each item ending with cheese. And bake on 350 degrees for 30 min, covered.
*Another fail in our house. My husband is just way too picky. He wouldn't eat this one because it had sour cream in it. I ate some, but of course it was a big serving so I gave the rest to my dad. We won't be making this again either.
Bacon Wrapped Lil Smokies
1 package Hickory Farms sausage weenies
1 package bacon
brown sugar
Wrap each sausage in half a slice of bacon. Sprinkle each one with brown sugar. Cover and bake on 400 degrees for 15-20 min.
*These are pretty delicious, especially as a small appetizer. Justin won't eat these-- I know you're surprised. Recommend these!
Mississippi Sin Dip-
sour cream
8oz cream cheese (softened)
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp Worcestshire sauce
French loaf bread
Mix ingredients, hollow out the loaf creating a "boat," pour mixture in loaf, wrap in foil, bake at 350 for 1 hour
*Pretty good snack/appetizer. I took this to work for a food day. I recommend it with fritos, they have the right taste that goes along with the flavor of the dip. Overall, would probably do this one again.
Peanut Butter Pie-
pie crust
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz frozen whipped cream
Beat all ingredients together, then fold in whipped cream. Spoon mixture into pie crust. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
*This was a hit for Christmas family get together. Very rich though so be ready! Will do this one again.
CLEANING/ORGANIZING:
Hanging scarves-
putting cheap shower rings on a hanger to organize scarves. Hang each scarf on its on ring.
*Got some serious clutter out of one of my organizing baskets in the closet. My scarves now have a place to hang and they are much easier to see too!
Getting rid of yellow birds (arm pit stains :-)-
Mix 1 part Dawn dish soap with 2 parts Hydrogenine Peroxide
Pour on infected area and wash and dry as normal.
*The directions I read said that she had had no luck with any other type of dish soap besides Dawn. I tried this and had no luck with it, BUT my Dawn dish soap has the Olay hand renewal and I don't know if that would have made a difference again. Therefore, I am going to try it again with the regular dish soap.
More to come soon! Have you tried anything you have found on Pinterest?

These are all great finds! I love finding recipes on there. I usually pin a lot of things, but haven't had time to try them out.
OMG. We did that first recipe and was totally grossed out by it too!! I trashed the recipe. SICK.
Brittany- I am trying to make it a habit of trying most of the things I pin. I got really overwhelmed with pinning EVERYTHING and forgetting what it was, so I'm trying to catch up! :)
Sarah- Probably one of the nastiest looking meals ever. I trashed it, and deleted my pin. Ha!
