We'll start with the obvious- the one everyone else in the world has.
1) Yes, I am trying to lose some weight and get back in shape. Justin and I have already started at the gym and I hope it will eventually be a part of our normal routine.
2) Getting better at saving money. I have several different things I want to save for and I hope to be able to save more this year than we ever have.
3) Continue weekly meal plans. This is such a relief for me! It makes my life one hundred times easier having pre-planned dinner ideas. And when we have them we stick to them really well unless something sudden comes up. This last time I sat down to make them, I made 4 weeks worth of plans and did 1 giant grocery trip and I haven't been back since! Love it!
4) To go along with the above, I want to use coupons more. This is just so hard for me to do though, because I don't get the newspaper regularly and I really don't want to use all my printer ink to print coupons out every day of my life. I would LOVE to be an extreme couponer but I just don't think I have it in me. Even if I could save $40 per shopping trip with coupons, then that's pretty extreme in my book.
5) Stop drinking caffeine/Coca Cola. You will be glad to know that I have no had a coke since December 31st! I suffered some pretty severe headaches last week almost every single day but I haven't had one in about 2 days though, I hope I'm over that part now. I love Coke so much but I just really don't need it.
6) Complete my ancestry book. I started ancestry.com in November and I found so much information on both sides of my family. Now I am in the middle of creating a book of everything I found to give to each family in my tree. It was been long and tedious and I am so very ready to be done with it.
7) Get my wedding/honeymoon scrapbook created and done! How sad is it that I have yet to start this yet? Now with my very own craft room I am hoping that I will really get all of this done not that I actually have a place to do it in. I have so much to do!
8) Learn how to sew. Also a part of my fancy little craft room. Justin's grandma got me a sewing machine for Christmas and I cannot wait to try my hand at it. I am hoping I can get the hang of it. We shall see!
9) Read the Bible all the way through. Our church handed out reading guides to read through the Bible in 1 year. Justin and I are going to try to hold each other accountable so we will both do this.
10) Read 1 book a month. Some of you may laugh at this... one book a month?? But I think it's going to be very difficult for myself. I am by no means a good or fast reader. And it has to be really interesting in order for me to stay with it. I have lots of Nicholas Sparks books that I need to get caught up on, I also want to read The Help (which is what I'm on right now), and Justin got me the Ellen DeGeneres book for Christmas! I have lots of reading to do!

Love this post Courtney!!
-I want to be in better shape too. I weight less than before I had Wyatt but feel like a flabby mess.
-I started back to meal planning too and bought a newspaper Sunday to get back into couponing.
-I only drink one Diet Dr. Pepper a day, if that, so I can't give it up!
-I hope you finish your ancestry book. That is just too cool.
-I've promised Ryan if we have a girl I am learning to sew. I can't wait to see what you will be making.
-Ryan and I need to do what you guys are doing too. No one better to hold yourselves accountable.
-I decided to read a book a month too. I think that was my goal last year too but failed miserably. The Help is great. Please tell me how Ellen's book is. Read the Hunger games too. :) I'm addicted.
-Let's both agree to do a mid-year post on our progress?
Great idea, completely agree! We will hold each other accountable.. ;-)
These are great goals, I need to do pretty much all of those too! I wish I could give up Dr. Pepper, but I guess just drinking one a day would be a good start.
