1) Losing weight/going to the gym- Getting in a routine to go to the gym took a little bit of time, but I am really enjoying it now. We are going Monday-Friday and some Saturdays (our gym is closed on Sundays). It is such a nice feeling and I have actually felt guilty about not going (like yesterday). I am seriously trying so hard.
2) We are on the road to saving! We already have our 2012 Christmas fund started, vacation money saving, and working on our Emergency Fund savings account (from our Financial Peace University class by Dave Ramsey.. HIGHLY recommend for anyone and everyone).
3) Weekly meal plans are w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l! Simplifies my life by like, a thousand. I have been making them for 4 weeks out and it's so nice to know that I don't have to worry about that everyday.
4) Coupons- yeaaaaaah... about that. I haven't used a single coupon this month. I KNOW. It's just so difficult since I don't get the newspaper and I have no black ink for my printer so I can't print anything. Lame excuses... I really need to get on this one.
5) No caffeine/Coca-Cola- Successful! I still have not had a Coke or any caffeine since December 31st. Headaches have ceased and I am doing a-ok with this. I have even stopped drinking Sprite as often as well. Altogether, we have decided to just not buy soft drinks anymore for the house. And I am trying to drink WAY more water than ever.
6) Ancestry book- a work in progess, almost complete! Ancestry.com account has been deactivated and I have all the info I need. I am working on getting all the info put together and have 4 complete pages of charts and genealogy done. I really just need to finish the small things and then I can send it out to whoever in my dad's family that wants a copy.
7) Wedding/Honeymoon scrapbook- It's been on my mind lately. That is the next project on my list for sure. I'm already getting ideas of how I want to do it.
8) Learn how to sew- another work in progress! A couple weeks ago my mom showed me how to get the machine all figured out and how to thread it. I made my very first pin cushion that turned out fairly rough. Haha! But it was my first time! Right now I am working on an apron. I have the pattern all cut out and ready to go, just trying to find some time to sit down and do it!
9) Read the Bible all the way through- Doing this. Justin is doing his own study though, so I am reading the Bible through by myself now.
10) Read 1 book a month- oh dear. Not so good. I am not even half way through "The Help". I just can't get hooked to where I don't want to put it down. And I tell myself I can't find the time to just sit and read either, but I'm sure I could if I really tried.
How are your goals going?
