Thanksgiving Week!

It is finally almost time for Thanksgiving! I love this time of year. I am so exicted for the holidays! Lately Justin and I have just been working and doing the school thing, as usual. Right now it's kind of crunch time for the semester. There are a couple exams left and also group projects for some of our classes. This coming week we only have class on Tuesday. We have two presentations and the rest of our classes are canceled. Then we only have The Tuesday and Thursday after that (Dec. 1st and 3rd) and then it's finals time!!! WooHoo!

This past week Justin's family dealt with a death. Justin's great-aunt Reba passed away on Wednesday after fighting Lupus for about 7 years. Fortunately the battle is over and she doesn't have to deal with the pain or suffering anymore. Last night was the viewing and visitation at Nelson Funeral Home and then today they buried her in Jasper with the rest of their family. Please keep their family in your prayers.

Today we celebrated my dad's side of the family's Thanksgiving. We all cooked our food and took it to the nursing home so that my grandpa could be with us. It was so fun, I was so glad to be able to have my grandma's mashed potatoes again. I don't get them very often anymore, so I take any chance that I can!!! On Thanksgiving Day, we are having lunch at Justin's mom's parent's house and then dinner at Justin's dad's parent's house. Then Friday, I will be out early shopping with all the other maniacs for Black Friday!!!! :-)

Oh btw- my hours have been increased at work and that was a MAJOR blessing! I thoroughly enjoy my job and I'm so lucky to have such a good job with such great people. Thank you Jesus!
