Finally a Fantastic Fall Sunday!

Today after church we went over to the nursing home to visit my grandpa, and of course my grandma was there. :-) At first he wasn't too awake but I finally gotten him to liven up and laugh a couple times as well! I enjoy visiting him, especially on his really good days. Sometimes we can get him to talk to us and sometimes we can get bodily responses from him that we know he is listening and what goes on. He is still such a funny man!

After we got home and ate lunch my mom, dad, and I went to Walmart* to get Christmas lights for the outside of the house. Since we had such a nice day again today we took advantage of it and put the lights up already. Of course we wont turn them on until after Thanksgiving, but at least we have part of the job marked off our lists so far! Here is a picture or two.

This cat is SO happy to finally be back outside. He enjoys his own world rather than being caged up inside. What a sweet kitty!
