A Saturday Bike Ride

Last Saturday Justin, my dad, and me headed up to Pea Ridge to ride bikes at the national military park. My dad is huge on riding bikes (he rides 15+ miles almost every day) and I wanted to do something different than ride around near his house. The road tour at the battlefield is 7 miles. It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I did it, but it was very hard for me. I am so out of shape and I haven't ridden my bike that hard in quite a while (my dad wouldn't say we road hard at all, but he also rides a lot more often than I do). Near the end of the tour there is this really cool look out that you can see almost the entire area from. The below picture is where we were when I took the pic. Such an incredible view for some a harsh history (part of the Civil War took place here). Isn't is incredible to know that 1 man created all of this? So awesome.

The pictures are very dark but Justin requested his picture be taken from here.We were on the down hill slide after we left this location to finish our tour!

The both of us. I was able to breath normally again finally. : )
