Black Friday! Or was it Thursday? I can't remember!

Oh goodness- where to even start here. This was probably the funnest, most successful, and still the craziest Black Friday I have encountered thus far. This night every year is one of my favorite nights ever! This has become a tradition for my sister, mom, and me to do together. Even though when it's all said and done my mom says "I'm not doing this next year". She said that last year and again this year... :)

First I need to say that I absolutely LOVE the crazy Target lady's ad! She makes me laugh so hard- it's so stupid. I get so excited when I see her ads start though! Because- "It's here!!!!"! Well to start there, as I was leaving Justin's grandparent's house that evening from our Thanksgiving, his aunt told me I should dress up like her to go shopping. Well little did they know that I had a red running suit and some red high heels! I had to run Justin's his house keys after I had gathered my things, so I most definitely walked back in their house dressed in my red (pictured above)! They all laughed so hard! And of course we had to take pictures. And in case you're wondering, no I did not wear this shopping! I changed as soon as my mom got to see it! ;)

Ok, here we go-

We arrived at Walmart at 9:45pm, here we had several items on our lists to gather. Some started at the 10pm sale and others were at the midnight sale. We were at Wally-World for 3 hours! It really didn't seem like that long because of all the maze walking you have to do to get through the store and fight to get through to your items and don't forget wandering around the store because they strategically try to place things. I'll tell you what, I have for sure gotten good at cart hipping! Cart hipping- when you walk between thousands of ridiculous carts trying to get to an item and bounce each one off of your hip to get it out of your way. Wonderful technique! And yes I just made all of that up. You just gotta sway your hips back and forth! After we finally finished at WM we headed to Target. Target was pretty well picked over whenever we got there. We still found some things we were and weren't looking for. I got myself a 2 pack of pillows for our new living room furniture! Love them! The checkout line started all the way back in electronics and wrapped around the side of the store and then to the registers. I was worried we were going to be waiting in line for a very long time, it only took about 15-20 min to make it through the whole line! Target was very organized and ready! From there we drove through the promenade to see if any stores were open (and some were) and used their restrooms (the line was rrrrreally long at Target). Then we moved right along North to Belk where we had to sit in the car for about 20 minutes and then got in the forever long line and stood outside for about 20 more minutes before the store opened. There was a mad rush to the sale for $20 boots! Holy cow! And of course that's what my sister was wanting there. That was just a nightmare to get through and somewhere along the way we lost my mom. Haylee and I got 2 pairs of shoes each for her to try on, we were just grabbing size 7 boots without looking at color and style and found a spot somewhere in the store to try them on. My mom finally found us and she had 2 more pairs for Haylee to try on. She narrowed the 6 pairs down to 2 and we were off! At this point it's about 2:30am-3:00am and we have a couple hours before our next (and last!!) 2 stores open, so we made our way to iHop for some.. breakfast? There was a 30 minute wait there- yes at 3 in the morning. Then we finally got seated and waited for our food so that past some time. However, just sitting there was making it very difficult to stay awake. Luckily we paid and we able to get out there and get moving again. We got to Lowes about 4:30 and they were opening at 5. So we sat in the warm car for a bit when I noticed they were letting people in about 15 minutes early! We got in and got out all before they were typically supposed to open! So we quickly headed to Academy and got there before 5 also! We were on a roll! The line to get in was SO long- wrapped all the way around the outside of the building. So there were some people gathering at the front where they would let us in after the long line got in. We walked straight in, headed to the right- opposite of the majority of people -and quickly gathered the items we were there for! Finally- WE WERE DONE! We headed to my parents to unload and load my car and I quickly went straight home! I was able to get 4 hours of sleep before heading to work at 11am for a couple hours and then I hit a couple more stores afterwards! Overall it was VERY successful, very fun, and of course there were tons of freaks out there! Can't wait to do it again next year! :)

So fun! I thought Black Friday was more chaotic than ever before, maybe because the stores opened earlier.
