2012 Recap

We have had quite a year in 2012! We've had lots of busy days mixed with some lazy days! Here are a few highlights from the year!

We spent the first day of the new year shootin' some skeet (or attempting to throw in my case)!

In February I finally decided to send off my wedding dress to have it cleaned and preserved. February tends to be a boring month around here, aside from Valentines Day- which was spent eating dinner at Shogun, yum!

In March we celebrated Justin's 23rd birthday with a dinner at Mama Z's with both of our families!

April held some renovations at the house! We made some changes and some additions, like our pergola that we enjoy so much now!

In May we spent a couple nights in Branson and celebrated our first anniversary! My new tradition is to take a picture of us holding a picture from the previous year on our anniversary. Here's the first!

We went on vacation with my family in June to Disney World! We got lots of rain while we were there.

July we enjoyed a fun weekend trip to Dallas where we got to tour Cowboys Stadium, Rangers Stadium, then a Rangers game where we got several autographs!

In August Justin was kind enough to take me to see Miranda Lambert at the first annual Taste of Country Music Festival in Fayetteville!

September offered us another weekend getaway. We enjoyed a once in a lifetime trip to LA where we did a Hollywood Tour, Werner Bros. Tour, and got to see the Cards play the Dodgers and got more autographs!

In October we made our annual trip to the Corn Maze in Southwest City, MO. We didn't get to stay long or due much due to rain.

November was extremely busy but somehow we found time to go on my first (and probably last) hunt! I am too much of a busy body to do this full part time.

In December we made another annual trip with my family, this time to Branson to enjoy a great display of lights at Silver Dollar City!

2012 was very good to us! We have been blessed more than we ever have deserved, that's for sure. Not only with new positions in our careers, but also in our faith, health, and family. Lots of prayers answered and lots of things we learned that we wanted to happen, that weren't quite in God's plan right now- or ever maybe. I hope this year has been great for you as well and that this new year will be even better!
