This past weekend my dad, sister, her boyfriend, Justin, and I went camping at Devils Den! We headed down on Friday afternoon after work. We picked up some food on the way and ate and set up as soon as we arrived. Friday night we rode bikes around the park and did some wandering.
This is the area right behind our camp site, typically where Lee Creek is but as you can see there wasn't a drop of water anywere in site.
Saturday we got up, ate breakfast, and went out for a morning hike. The picture below is from the lookout of Yellow Rock trail. It is such an incredible view and so big! After this hike we went back and ate lunch before hopping on our bikes to do a bike trail. It was a little rough for my sister and me so we went back to camp and the guys went out for a longer, tougher bike trail. My sister and I took the opportunity to enjoy a small nap. Later that afternoon we went swimming at the pool then returned for dinner!
We got up Sunday morning, ate, and began packing things up to head home. By that time I was very ready to shower and get all cleaned up. We had a very good time camping and I think everyone had lots of fun!
