Leaving a Legacy

Today my grandpa went to Heaven. It was pretty hard to swallow at first but we all know he is in a much better place. It had been a rough couple of weeks here lately for him so we all had an idea that it was just a matter of time. I have some of the best memories with him and my grandma. He will forever be missed but we will all meet again at the feet of God. I am so glad that he will have no more suffering and no more medication. He lived a wonderful life and I am so thankful for him and the fact that he raised a wonderful son that would one day be my dad. I am thankful for getting to know him for so many years, lots of people don't get the opportunity to know their grandparents for long, if at all. He couldn't have gone any more peacefully though, so we are grateful for that. Please keep our family and especially my grandma in your prayers through the coming days and weeks. It's never easy to lose someone, but every more right around the holidays. And thank you to everyone for all the kind texts, messages, and comments I have received from all of you. I really appreciate them all.
