This has been quite the week for weather around here. We have (and still are) receiving insane amounts of snow that just continues to add on to the 1-2 inches of ice below it. It is seriously unbelieveable. Until today (and other than going to dinner the last 2 evenings) I had been in the house with my mom and sister since Monday night. Today was my first day to get back to work and I'm glad I got here before all this crazy snow started again. Of course I am definitely not one to drive in this stuff so my mom brought me in to town this morning and the drive wasn't too terrible, but I am always tense and on the edge of my seat whenever I have to ride on these roads. Last night on our way to dinner I had quite the scare... we were trying to make a corner and we were just sliding out of control in my dad's car. I don't know how he does/did it but he got it slowed down and somehow made the turn. I think I had a heart attack and my sister definitely screamed. It is just too much for me to handle!
So here we are getting more and more snow so thankfully my dad is coming to pick me up in a couple hours. Our friends Kari and Mark are coming over for dinner and then we are going to go sledding! I am so excited!! It should be a fun time with them! Tomorrow I had a whole plan of things to do, but it doesn't look like I will be doing anything unless someone wants to drive me around :-)
I hope you all are being safe out there. I don't see how these people are out driving in this!! I am really hoping it melts VERY soon. I have things to do in the next coming weeks!!
