I am just not a cold weather person, never have been and I'm sure I never will be. There is just nothing fun about it to me. Especially when it snows and creates ice. That's when we have a serious "Courtney Problem". I love driving. I have always loved driving, something about it is just so nice. But--- I don't drive in snow and ice. I can't and I won't. I had a small accident my senior year of high school which included sliding down a large hill and being hit from behind by a speeding sophmore in a Jeep Cherokee which ended in lots of tears from my sister and I and a shattered spoiler on my car. Since the big slide and being hit, I just haven't been able to do it. Well I know I am eventually going to have to get over this fear but I don't know when and I sure don't know how. My only thought is going to a large empty parking lot when this happens and just practicing. Practicing everything. Well, I drove to work this morning and it was horindeous, horrific, horrible, etc. I was scared to death. So scared that when I finally got to work, I cried because I knew I wasn't going to be able to do THAT again. I have forever been scarred from the small accident which is all I can think about whenever I am driving in this crazy stuff. Which brings me to my next though...
Spring is coming; not quick enough in my eyes, but it's definitely coming. March is just over 5 weeks away, which in most ways means that this unloving weather is
almost over. Almost. Somehow we must just get through February and boy do I hope it goes by super fast.
