Our First Family Christmas Dinner

This past Saturday evening Justin and I had all of our grandparents (minus my grandpa who is unable to leave the nursing home) and parents over. It was a FULL house! It was nice to be able to have everyone over, but it was semi stressful on me, probably because it was the first time for me to try to cook and entertain SO many people in our house. It was a good time though and I was glad our grandparents were able to come see our house.

Everyone in the living room, except a couple people who are in the kitchen, we had to set up a table in the living room for everyone else to eat at. It was a cozy fit.. =)

We had plenty of food!! I baked a ham and made rolls and everyone else brought a side dish. It worked out really great and we had plenty of food for everyone, and many of the dishes were completely cleaned out. This is just one side of the kitchen with food everywhere, I didn't forgot to take a picture of the other side!

And here's the clean up crew. I was doing just fine washing dishes myself before everyone else decided to step in.. I told them I could handle it, clearly they didn't believe me. :-)

I think everyone had a pretty good time. I was very excited to get to use my new Christmas dishes that I bought after Christmas last year, maybe we will get to do it again next year.
