27 Days Until Christmas!

But who's counting?? =) This weekend we were able to get our house ready for Christmas! It was so much fun, I have seriously been holding myself back for the past 3 (ok 4!) weeks to keep from getting the Christmas decorations out. I have so much stuff in my mind that I want to do, but it's going to be an on-going project for years to come for us though. Here is our pretty little house with our lights! Excuse my car--- someone doesn't want to share the garage just yet... :-)

And here's our wonderful tree! I was so glad to have Justin's help in getting it put up and decorated. He tried so hard.. I had to go back and straighten a few things though... haha! I was so productive that I even got some presents wrapped and put under the tree as well. Go me!

I CAN NOT believe that December is only 1 day away. It is incredible where the last half of this year has gone. Can we really just be so busy to not realize what we've done the last 6 months or 213 days? Because I can honestly only tell you a couple things that I remember doing recently. Maybe that's a part of getting older though ;-) Needless to say I am getting SO very excited for Christmas!! It is always such a fun and wonderful time of year, but this year I am really going to try to make it more about Christ than I have in previous years. We wouldn't get to do this if it weren't for Him and we all need to keep that in mind. He blesses us in more ways than we will ever deserve... I have seen it more and more true through my friends and family and even through people that I don't even know. What a wonderful feeling it is to know that we serve such a gracious Lord!

I am really looking for His grace and mercy right now as I finish up my last 3 days of class for this semester as my steam is slowly going out! I can do it though-- just 3 more!!!! And 2 more tests and I am free for 6 weeks!!! Woohoo!! I am going to enjoy thoroughly enjoy my several weeks off as the new year comes in and we get in full gear for the wedding (well almost full gear). From there it should be pretty constant with things to do, which I will absolutely love!

But for now, I am really dealing with some unnecessary stress and could really use prayers on how to handle these situations and people. I am really trying to continue to enjoy this moment but as of right now, I really wish I would have just gone to the beach and got married! Hopefully that attitude will change soon though.
