Well for those of you who don't already know, Justin and I have put an offer on a house and are now under contract! I'M. SO. EXCITED. It was kind of stressful looking at houses and talking things over and trying to to decide what we both like and don't like and think we need and don't need. I think we have made the perfect choice. Our families have been very supportive about things and are just about as excited as we are! Thank you Jesus for the wonderful parents and grandparents that we have been blessed with. They have made this process very smooth so far. The house we chose is a foreclosed property that is in Lowell. I love the area and the neighborhood and I think it's going to be a great home for us after we get all of our work done to it. I seriously think it was sent to my email the day is was listed for a purpose, really. As of right now I'm not exactly sure when we will close, I know it's either May 14th or June 4th. Hopefully we will get that information this week. Right now we are working on setting up our inspection and finding a company for our termite contract. I need to call around and get that taken care of.
This week Justin has 3 exams and I have 2. It's getting down to the end of the semester and we are getting pretty busy, so it's actually kind of nice that we won't be closing until after we have finished this semester. There are only two weeks left of classes which is only 4 class days for us and then it's straight into finals. Justin starts his new job at JB Hunt on Monday the 26th so please pray that that will go well for him and that hopefully it will be something he will like or at least be able to tolerate for the last year of class so that he's able to find a full time position with them after graduation. It's all in God's plan though, we just have to pray about it.
Next month is our 3 year anniversary! I can't believe it. Justin and I were talking today about the countdown to the wedding and we think that with buying the house and working on it and fixing it up to what we want that that will keep us busy for a good amount of time this year and keep our minds off of how much longer it is until the wedding. I think he's exactly right. I'm so excited to close and start our work and getting everything painted and all the stuff moved in. Once all of that is done then Justin will be moving into our house! It's so convenient for him and his new job. Things couldn't have worked out any better than they have! Yay!!! Please also pray that things with the bank will go well and that they will be able to complete the business that needs to be done to finalize our loan and getting a title company. I just pray for a very smooth completion process.
