This is some of the damage from the storm last year. I had never seen anything like it before in my life. It was the craziest thing ever.
This time we have more SNOW than I have ever seen in my life. It's insane!!!! Of course I'm stuck in the house and am trying to come up with things to keep myself occupied and caught up (or get ahead) on some things. It's really not as bad as I make it seem to my family members, I just enjoy being overly dramatic about it. =) After dinner this evening, my dad and I went wandering around the neighborhood. We really enjoyed it. The snow is SO deep. We both were making comments that we think this is the most snow we have gotten at one time here in NWA. Below the 23 feet of snow (just kidding!) there is a layer or 2 of ice. Needless to say, I won't be driving for quite a while. Gives me good reason to study for my exam I have next Tuesday though.
Can you believe it's almost February?!?! I can't. Valentine's Day will mark mine and Justin's one year engagement anniversary. ALREADY!? Yes, time flies by. I officially have 3 bridesmaids! Yay! I have great plans for this wedding and I am SO excited about it. I just wish Justin would be more into it. Maybe it's just not his thing though. Soon enough it's going to be May and we will be down to the one year countdown for the big day! WooHoo!!
My aunt and uncle (mom's brother and sister-in-law) had their second child today! It's a girl and her name is Colbie Lynn. I love her name! From what I've heard my aunt had some complications afterward and they were kind of worried about her. They think it probably just had to do with stress. Hopefully it's nothing more/worse than that. If you wouldn't mind, please say a prayer for her! I wonder when I will get to meet my new cousin...
Well I guess I'm going to call it a night. Who knows what they day will bring tomorrow. Hopefully lots of good food. :-p
