We literally just went straight from summer to winter around here, and I don't like it much. I have been sick for a little over a month now with a never-ending cold. On Tuesday I just couldn't handle it any longer and had to leave classes for the remainder of the day to just come home and rest. Luckily I was able to get a doctor's appointment in on Wednesday morning to find out that I know how progressed to a sinus infection. Yuck! Well this sinus infection has been ridiculous. I've been on my antibiotics for 2 days and have seen no signs of getting better, only worse. Last night was the worst ever. I bawled and coughed allllll night long. It's been so unpleasant. last year I got lucky and never got a sinus infection, but for a couple years before that I was getting them almost twice a year. I can't say that I missed it last year. Dear Jesus, I'm ready to be better whenever You're ready for me to be better. :-)
It's now the middle of the semester. ALREADY! I am so so happy for that but also... a little worried. I have some grades that most definitely need worked on before the end of the semester. I hope I can pull this off. I don't think there has ever been a semester that I have been THIS ready to be over! This has by far been the roughest/toughest semester for me, and I'm hoping that the remaining semester can do nothing but get better from here. Wow. I've got 15 hours for the spring, 6 for summer, 14 for fall, and then 14 for spring 2011. Then I'm finished!!!!!!! Woohoo!! But... that's still a while away.
I'm hoping to rest and recover this weekend, so there are no big plans. I need to run some errands tomorrow and maybe I'll find a pumpkin patch too. We have a wedding to go to at 2pm tomorrow in Siloam. One of Justin's distant cousins is getting married. I am excited to see what they have planned! Hope everyone has a good weekend.
